Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois
Work comp insurance
I run a small business which I own, and my only employee is my son. I pay for his health insurance and any expenses. I don't plan on getting work comp coverage unless I hire another worker. Is this a problem.

How well do you get along with your son? The law requires that all employers obtain worker's compensation coverage for their workers. There penalties for not doing so.
