What if a person pledges a stolen article?

the stolen property doesnot confer any legal title on person so he can't exercise the right of legitimate owner . Therefore the real owner of the property is entitled to get back his property which is being stolen by another and pledged. Such bank can't also enforce its pledge rights as the said right is defective
