Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
park permit
I tried to get a permit for a Rally at an East Chicago City park. I acknowledge at the time of the application that I represented The Committe to Elect Anthony Copeland for Mayor but when it came to event I wrote Rally. I was thrown out of the Park Department by its Director when I requested documentation stating that East Chicago doesn't allow political events. I feel that my rights were violated by being denied the right to gather.
