What can I do if someone pulls my credit report with out my permission?

You may have an action against them in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. But see the Act as there are many variations to what is and what isn't permissible. If someone has reason to pull it, like in connection with financing or a big purchase or even life insurance policies, it can be permitted. They don't need your permission. Review the act to see if the peson who pulled is under one of the permissible exceptions, and check and make sure that you didn't sign a release authorizing them to pull it.
