First, filing bankruptcy has nothing to do with what appears on your credit report. I do not know how you got a credit report with your ex's social security number as the reports are usually run by social security numbers. Nevertheless, what you can do is send a letter to the credit reporting agency saying what is incorrect on your credit report. This should clear things up. If not consult an attorney. At this point you may have a violation of the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act which will allow you to get attorney fees if you win.
