Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

I was arrested this summer for working with others to rescue what I was told was an abandoned dog in a trailer... I was told the police had been called and animal control had been notified but neither would respond and the owner abandoned the the dog and had moved to Louisiana... I was arrested and charged with burglary a class B felony with a 50,000 bond for entering the residence and removing the dog from the residence... I posted 5000 and bonded out within four hours...The prosecutor threw the case out and I wasn't charged with anything...My question is, can I retrieve some of my 5000 back and get my record expunged since I wasn't charged? I have a hearing in three days to attemt to get my record expunged...And by the way I called the police on myself! I called them to tell them of the situation and what had happened

Get your money back ? No. Have the record expunged? Possibly, with the help of an attorney and the cooperation of the prosecutor.
