Can an injured person be compensated for emotional injuries when another lies about love for monitary gain?

If the person was injured monetarily, they could be compensated for their actual loss, and possibly up to 3 times the loss depending on the nature of the fraud. You need to see an attorney to discuss the details. Emotional pain with no further damage is rarely compensable in Indiana.
