Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

I purchased a vehicle March of 2012 from a gentleman who assured me the title was clean. I registered the vehicle and received a clean Indiana State Title. On 11/23/12 between the hours of 9:30am-10am my vehicle was taken by BullDog Recovery due to the fact the Illinois Title Loan Company said there was a Lien on the Original title from Illinois. I have contacted the Title Loan place, Bulldog Recovery, Mr. Fletcher (person whom sold me the vehicle) the Secretary of State, my local Police Department, as well as the Illinois DMV. No one is giving me answers to the situation that I had no knowledge about as well as not having to do with me.... who do I take to court & how can I get my vehicle back or the money I paid for the vehicle.

Unfortunately, you can only sue the man you sold the vehicle to because the loan company had a lien on the property. The law presumes that you knew of that lien. You do have a cause of action against him. In short, take him to court.
