Satisfaction of judgment

Is there any legal action I may be able to take on a lawyer or lawfirm that failed to file a satisfaction of judgment in a case they had against me over 5 years ago? I was invloved in a lawduit, they handed down a judgement, I PAID the judgment and now it is still showing on my credit report because the lawyer never filed the satisfaction of judgment.

In my opinion it would be the obligation of the opposing party or other attorney to take care of that. You should have it done or hire a lawyer to do it for you. Mary
