Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Indiana

My wife and I just recently had a baby by C-section and my wife agreed to take part in a new procedure called on-Q pain buster in which my wife was the first to do at this hospital. After returning to our room after surgery a man entered our room and lifted my wifes gown without telling her who he was or having a nurse with him, he did however has a polo shirt that said the name of the hospital on it so we just assumed it was a doctor. My mother in law went to the nurses station to inquire about this man and found out he is only a sales person for these "balls". My wife and I feel very violated by this and this experience has ruined our experience of having our last child. Is there something legally we can do about this?

You need to review the consent form that you signed at the hospital and/or the doctor's office and determine whether you gave a blanket authorization concerning the procedure.
