when buying a new house how should the deed read when recorded in the county recorder office

Depends. If you are buying just for yourself, it should be in your name.If you are purchasing realty as a husband and wife, it should be "John Smith and Betty Smith, husband and wife, as tenants by the entireties..." (Substitute your names for John and Betty Smith). If you purchase the property for someone else, it needs to be in their name. If you do not put yourself as the owner of the realty, but you still wanted to have an interest, you might put yourself as having a life estate interest in the real estate. Or, you could create a living trust and make the trust the owner of the realty.
