Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Louisiana

Harassed by Superintendant

A long bidding story.... (too many characters)

They have been rigging the bidding process ever since they began to purchase from a certain company here in Louisiana. This company has strangly been winning all of the bids by one dollar. The next day I wake up and get an Email from my distributor letting me know the superintendant had been calling them and harassing them. I decided to go up there and ask about it. The superintendant admitted doing it. So, I asked to see a copy of the bids (Louisiana Open Records Law) and he refused. I haven't received a reason of denial (it's been over three days). He then threatened me in front of everyone in the school board office that next time I ever come up there trying to be rude asking for those bids or something like that, that he was going to jail. I have OCD. I have to go to school every single day feeling as if I have to fear for my life becuse of how he threatened me. I have suffered public humiliationm and emotional distress from this. What can I do?

Re: Harassed by Superintendant

What you are telling me is that a parish school board (or the State Department of Education) has rigged its bidding system with a company.

Although I don't know enough details to guide you precisely, it is safe to say that you need to consult a lawyer immediately.
