Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I was arrested a few years ago by a store for theft. I never went to the police station and I never got finger printed. The charges were dropped and I received expungement of police and court records. If I am getting a background check, will this show up?

It's anybody's guess. Some private parties gather information from public databases and store it. Even when the state expunges its database(s), private parties do not. Regardless, the records remain available for public safety and national security purposes.
