Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
My fiancee was charged armed robbery & conspiracy - Armed Robbery. He was with a friend the friend asked him to stop at this home of a friend that owed him money. My fiancee stopped waited in the truck for several minutes has pulled off to get a soda suddenly recd a call from the friend asking where he went & asked him to stop he was coming. Friend soon jumped and the truck and told my fiancee hurry go. Unknown to him of any illegal activity he drove off. Soon was pulled over by police who arrested and charged them both. It was at the time that the cops pulled them over that my fiancee learned of his friends illegal activities. He was released on bail. A week later our hjm was raided and he was taken away and arrested again for another armed robbery charge. Rumor has it that the 2 guys who really did rob the 2nd location very similar as the 1st went to the police acting as tho they didn't know my fiancee & his friend (which they has been friends at one time) they picked their 2 pics out of a pic lineups. By having my fiancee & his friend arrested for that robbery to erase leads of their involvement. they are happily telling all that they got away w/ robbery. What should I do? I have no $ for a lawyer to hire for him. But hes incarcerated for 2 crimes he didn't commit.
