Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I'm 16 and my parents are divorced I live with my father and hate it; I really want to see my mother. They have joint custody but my father is keeping me at his house and I don't think that's how joint custody works. Since I'm 16 can I legally move in with my mother without my fathers consent?

No you cannot. Talk with your mother about your father's apparent failure to comply with the court order. Let her hire the attorney and move forward with contempt and/or a change in custody.
