How can I have the father of my unborn childs rights taken away..He has an extensive criminal record and is a drunk..Or how can I gain total and sole custody of this unborn child..

I assume you aren't a married couple. If his name isn't going on the birth certificate, you will have automatic sole custody unless he files court papers acknowledging paternity (that he's the father) and asks for joint or sole custody. On the other hand, if you want to require him to pay support, you can file a paternity and support action in court. But he would then be entitled to visitation rights.
