child support

I am disabled I receive $623/mo. in SSI, my childrens father earns atleast $59K/year. he pays me only $650/month for two children.he has only one other child under age 18. why is his lawyer requesting records of my expenses, and past work history? i have not worked since 2005.

That sounds like normal discovery requests in a child support case. Financial records and work history are relevant information to the issue of child support and could lead to information that is admissible in a trial. You are entitled to the same information regarding the father.

Your husband's lawyer is preparing to request that the court modify an existing agreement or put in place a formal agreement.
