getting my kids back
i have 2 children and they have been living with me since october 2006 their father was supposed to return them after my vacation to my moms and he wont he has not allowed me to talk to them i live in maryland and i called the police and they said there's nothing they can do he's placed a restraining order on their sister who iam friends with and i don't know how to get them back what do i do neither of us have legal custody

File a complaint for custody immediately in the Circuit Court in your county. If you are concerned for the safety and well-being of the children, follow that up with an emergency petition for temporary custody and request that the children be returned to you pending the outcome of the custody matter.
