Marrying a Man with Minor Children
I will be marrying a man with two minor children 15 & 10. If for any reason after we are married and he is unable to pay his child support, will I be held responsible for making the monthly payments? I own my own home and have other small assets that I don't want attached. How can I protect myself.

You will not pay directly for support of children that you have not accepted as your own. I suspect that the children may already be subject to a support order that tends to insulate you.
You should consider protecting all assets that you have prior to marriage. Ensuring proper title of property and written agreement may be advised.
I am available should you require legal assistance.

You cannot be held responsible for his child support. As long as your assets are held either in your name (preferable) or in a marital status with your husband, they cannot be used for his support.
