Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Massachusetts
Filing a civil complaint
I am a defendant in a civil matter (credit card debt) but the Plaintiff's attorney failed to indicate in the complaint the account number of the credit card they are trying to collect - can a case be dismissed because of it

You should certainly file an answer and motion to dismiss. This case probably could have been gotten rid of with the help of an attorney prior to filing suit, but ignoring creditors only seems to encourage them in these cases.
