i am in process of financing a vehicle that is in my name as well as insurance i pay $800.00 a month on the car 400.00 for insurance and 400.00 for the car note i have a co-signer who is my ex boy friend now but was not then in december when i first paid to get the car out of the dealer ship he now has taking the vehicle from me and has no job or licence to even pay the bills in which are in my name does he have the right to do so??

You indicated that your ex-boyfriend was a co-signer to your automobile loan. The answer to your question will depend on whether your ex-boyfriend's name was also put on the title to the car when you purchased it.

If his name is not on the title, he had no right to take possession of the car from you. You should contact the dealer to review the title to the car, and perhaps involve the authorities. Of course, this all depends on whether he has any legal right to possess the car in the first place.

If he is the co-signer on the note, and he is co-owner of the car, he ought to have a right to use it...on the other hand, this may be a sign that the relationship isn't working.

Try mediation around the issue of car usage, if you can't have a civil conversation on your own.
