Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts

Grad School concerns

I recently attended to Graduate school in Vermont. The school claims to have two parts of their Grad program. 1 part is the on-campus phase and the other is the off campus phase in which you obtain an intership and complete your Graduate thesis. I am in the midst of that phase but now they (the school) does not return my e-mails or phone calls and I'm wondering if I just lost the $40,000 I paid for tuition. My so called advisor does not respond to any requests for assistance. I've tried everything to contact the school with no luck. What are my legal options?
