Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I live in Massachusetts, and I have 2 continued without a findings. 1 was for shop lifting and the other was prescription fraud. I was never arrested and never served time. I paid a fine and stayed out of trouble. I am applying for a teacher's job and have to fill out a CORI report. Will these show up and prevent me from getting hired by the public school system in Massachusetts?

These contacts may show up. But they would show a CWOF or dismissed disposition.

Request a copy of your CORI.

Your CWOFs will show up on your record, which will also show that the charges were ultimately dismissed because you stayed out of trouble. As you are probably aware, the CWOF disposition required that you admit to sufficient facts to substantiate the two criminal allegations against you. Whether this information will keep you from getting hired would be for the school to determine.
