Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Person is attacked and dragged into another apartment and threatened with a baseball bat by two people and their daughter. All because the Person wouldn't give them a dog she was looking after. Person finally escapes from them and is shot by the mother. Goes to the hospital and is lucky cause the bullet missed vital organs. Comes home only to find out that she and the other party are both being evicted as a disturbance to the peace. The attacking party is mentally ill. What are the options for this situation?
