childs medical bills
i'm divorced and the divorce decree states that both parties must split medical bills of child. my son wen't to a dental school for braces. i brought him there and signed the documents. i paid my half and spouse refuses to pay hers. am i responsible for her half to.

You are responsible to the provider but can file a contempt complaint for reimbursement from your ex unless the wording of the divorce judgment does not include dental payments to a dental school. If in doubt, seek interpretation from your divorce attorney.

If the decree is clear, and you should have probably discussed this with your ex, your ex is responsible for the other half.
