When my husband and I separated my son who is 18 in high school stayed with him and my daughter (15) came with me am I able to get child support from him?

Hello,

Generally speaking child support is determined by the Massachusetts Child Support Guidelines which computes a weekly child support figure using a formula which includes both the parents' incomes, health insurance costs and child support costs. In the event that each parent has custody of one of the children, the support may still be ordered depending on what the financial situation of each party is.
