I'm in MA. Can my company withhold my paycheck, refusing to give me any pay until I get health insurance.

Re: withholding pay for insurance
I do not believe that an employer can withhold a paycheck for any reason. Please feel free to contact my office.
I would be happy to look into this and, if necessary, file a Wage Complaint. It is likely your employer will pay once you retain an attorney, as the penalties for withholding pay are severe.
