Tenant at will NO LEASE
can a landlord tell me to move out in 10 days and keep my belongings , she states she wants 430.00
before she will give me my laptop back which she never had premission to take from the house and other personal belongings I rented a room and the rent just kept going up from 300 a month to 650 in a matter of 3 ,mths and she kept the heat turned off at the breaker the usal temp was 50 degrees., she sent me the notice thru facebook ,I had to pay to have some of my belonging put in storage.and moved she locked me out on the 10 day and would not let me getmy items , the lap top she had removed from the house
Please any help would be greatly appreciated

If she does not return the laptop call the police.
She has to give you 30 days written notice to vacate.
You have a case against her.

Mr. Lancia is absolutely correct. She can't raise rent beyond market. She cannot use self-help to take your things. She needs a court order to lock you out of a unit and she is required to provide you with heat.
Consider retaining an attorney, as some of the actions of your landlord, as you have descibed them, may be illegal and in violation of the consumer protection law.
