Bankruptcy Discharge
I have been discharged from bankruptcy however after my dishcarge a collecter showed up on my credit report stating the account was in collections. What should I do?

They likely missed the fact that you have gone through bankruptcy. As a creditor, they should have received notification of your bankruptcy and been given the chance to file a proof of claim or attempt to recover through your bankruptcy. It is likely a clerical error - call or send them a letter stating you went through bankruptcy, and give them the case number, so they can verify it, and leave you alone.

Call them and see why they are doing that. Then send them the discharge if it was pre-petition debt.
