I filed a chapter 13 and am surrending my house. My lender tells me that they have not atttached. What this this mean?

I have done bankruptcies for 25 years and have not herd the term. My simple suggestion is to contact your attorney. Surrendering a home in chapter 13 is simple. List the surrendering in the plan and get the plan confirmed. The mortgage company will take care of the rest of it.
