Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

No Car Payments

My sister lost her house and her business due to health and moved from Florida to Michigan to live with me 6 months ago. I pay her living expenses. She began receiving social security in November 2008, but is too young for Medicare. I don't know if she has made a car payment on the car she drove to Michigan. Am I liable for her debts? She says she is making payments, but I don't know how she could.

Re: No Car Payments

You don't become liable for her debts just because she is with you.
