Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Does a M.I.P. equal possession of a controlled substance?
I would like to obtain a concealed weapons permit in Michigan. One of the requirements is that you cannot be convicted of possession of a controlled substance. I received a M.I.P. (minor in possession of alcohol) about 2 1/2 yrs ago. Will this end my chances of obtaining the permit?
