Ages for dating: is this illegal?
Okay. So if someone who's 15 years old is dating someone who's almost 19 is that illegal, if they are committing NO sexal acts whatsoever?????

That is like asking if it is okay for a 19 year old to hang around with a 15 year old. Of course it is. It is just illegal if they are sexually involved. William S. Stern

It's legal for now....and then the 19 year old boyfriend wants the 15 year old girl to prove her love... and she does...and she tells her friends or her mother or therapist or doctor...and somehow the school counselor finds out about it ...and he gets convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct III, goes to prison and has to register as a sex offender and can't go to college and can't get a good job or live 1000 feet from a school and his life is pretty much ruined and so is hers 'cause she loves him so and feels guilty about what she did to him so they get back together when he's released and he starts drinking and abusing her (and their child) and he gets arrested again, goes to jail, loses the only crappy job he could find and she goes back home to live with her parents.
