Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

debt from divorce

a married couple accrues 50k in debt, in march the divorce is final, debt still at 50k, and the decree states the debt will be paid off by husbands 401k, which was transfered to wife to pay off, since this is time consuming to get the 401k transfered the husband in that time incurred another 10k in debt, now the 401k does not cover the debt, the 401k is 50k, the wife cannot get her name off the credit card because there is debt on it and the cc company won't take her name off unless the debt is paid in full, the husband has the means to pay off the debt to get her released but won't, does she(the wife) have any case against the husband?

Re: debt from divorce

Yes, but she will have to go to the circuit court where the divorce was held to enforce it.
