Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Domestic Disturbance

I was arrested for domestic violence. My girlfreind called the police after a fight to get revenge of some sort. She was intoxicated and is on Zoloft for emotional problems. I have never been in any law trouble in the past. What will happen to me? My girlfreind would like it all to go away, but Michigan Law does not allow her to remove the complaint. She did not fill out a complaint when the officers came to her home, but she did make untrue claims that she now regrets. She would help me now any way she could. Please Advise. Thanks
