Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
establishing paternity
My Dad recieved paperwork from Michigan stating he owed child support for a child he did not know existed, The mother was married at the time to another man and put my Dad as the father of her child. He asked for a paternity test and the court is denying him it. What can be done to get the courts to let him have a paternity test?

Your father should hire an experienced family law attorney near the county where the paternity case is located.

What can be done depends on timing and the circumstances. Where in Michigan is the case?
