Re: tennant-landlord matter

Well winning and getting your money are two different things. In this case I suggest doing whatever it takes to find out where he works and where he has moved, which you'll have to do to serve him with paperwork and attempt to collect. Hopefully he will file a change of address with the post office, but he might not do that right away.

Do you have a copy of his driver's license? Because if you did, you could obtain a copy of his driving record in a few weeks and see if he has changed his address with the secretary of state.

Did he provide you with any references when he moved in?

You have to investigate all the different ways of locating him.

And even if you can't locate him, I would definitely suggest suing him and getting a judgment, because they are good for at least 10 years. And if he has a job, you could then garnish his wages.

If you need help, please contact me. Thanks.
