Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Michigan

Medical Malpractice/Wrongful Death

My mom had an angioplasty in Feb. 2000, doulble bi-pass surgery in July, 2000, angioplasty agian in Nov. 2000, and a second double bi-pass March 9. Her first Cardiologist said he didn't know what to do because he's never had a case like hers. She'd gotten another Cardiologist and her very first appointment she was told she needed another double bi-pass because the first one never worked. She was fine afterward, Saturday, and Sunday morning. The nurse gave her haldol about 2:30pm. By 3:04pm my mom died. My mom had surgeries that didn't work with two different hospitals. I would like to know who is responsible?

Re: Medical Malpractice/Wrongful Death

We would certainly review your mother's medical file to determine if a malpractice case exists. It's possible there was an error/negligence that may have caused or contributed to your mothers death but a medical expert would have to make that determination. We work with many highly qualified expert physicians, especially in the heart area who can review the file and make such a determination.
