Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

Can I sue an individual for the difference of what it cost me to replace my vehicle since it was deemed their fault for the accident and my car was deemed a total loss due to the repair cost being more than the value of the vehicle. The amount the insurance company is going to pay will not cover the cost of getting a replacement vehicle. Also now that I might have to take out a loan to get a replacement vehicle I will not be able to afford the monthly payment.

You need to take the police report, photos of the vehicle, notes, correspondence, and your insurance policy to an attorney who practices in the no-fault insurance area. The answer to your question depends on the facts of your case, and the levels of insurance coverage you, and the other driver had. No-fault insurance is a very complicated statute, and not for the novice practitioner.
