Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

collection calls

a collections company named LHR Inc. Has made several collection calls to my mother in MS. They call here so much that she told them that she was dead and that she was my step mother. They still told her that they were going to call the law on me and garnish my wages. This happened on 11/10/08. Can they do this? What action can I take?

Their actions may well be breaking Federal law.
