Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

I had a judgment put on me for an old credit card bill. I did not receive any formal notices regarding this judgement. The attorney for the company took money out of my checking accout without my knowledge, and my bank did not notify me either, I found out by going online and seen that my account was in the negative. The money they took belonged to my Grandchildren, I get 532.00 direct deposited into my bank on the 1st of every month from the State of Minnesota's MFIP program because I am raising my Grandchildren. Can they legally take the childrens's income??

There are lots of missing notices in this chain of events. Specifically there should have been a summons and complaint, and a garnishment summons sent to the bank which then should have sent it to you.

You should be able to get the funds back by filing a garnishment exemption notice.
