Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My brother is not returning my calls and his ex is not either, I have been trying to get ahold of them so I can see or talk to my neices. Do I have rights? Can I get visitation?

Unfortunately, you do not have any rights to see your nieces. Grandparents have been extended visitation rights in certain situations, but this right has not been extended to any other relative as far as I know.

Unfortunately visitation with third parties is extremely limited. If you are not a grandparent or if the children have not lived with you for an extended period, Minnesota statutes do not provide any remedy with regard to visitation.
