Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

my sone fell into our firepit on fathers day and required a 16 day hospital stay, skin grafting on back and 1 arm. Can I sue my homeowner's insurance on behalf of my son for his permanent scarring he will have???

It is very unlikely that your homeowner's policy would provide coverage, because you and your family are likely all considered "insured's" under the policy. Generally most homeowner's policies do not provide coverage to their own insureds. If you don't have the policy around the house you should request a certified copy of the policy and bring it to an attorney to have him/her analyze the policy language.
