Legal Question in Immigration Law in Minnesota
I am married to a hispanic man and want to get him papers to stay here in a safe matter knowing I'm not going to lose him. Is there any free or right way to get this done safe or at low cost besides hiring a lawyer?

First of all, you need to consult a knowledgeable immigration lawyer (not a 'notario') and see IF there is a chance for your husband to obtain a Green Card.
Then, you will know what to do and what petitions to file, how much it will cost and how long it may take.
No, there is no free way to get his situation 'fixed'. However, there could be some community organization (e.g. Free Legal Aid, etc) where, depending on your income, they might be able to provide free legal help (but you will still have to pay filing fees to the government).
If youd like to schedule a confidential telephone or email legal consultation, need advice or help, please let me know and Id be glad to help you.
