Visitation while in custody

Can My ex legally not allow my daughter to not be able to come visit me if i am incarcerated in a federal instution in the future if the court order on visitation awarded me visitation.

It depends on what your order awarding visitation says. Generally, the visiting parent must affirmatively exercise visitation. If you're incarcerated, it will be difficult for you to do so. However, just because you're incarcerated does not mean that you never get to see your daughter. You need to have a lawyer review the visitation order and, if necessary, apply for a modification so you can remain a part of your daughter's life during your sentence.
