Life Insurance and lack of a Will

Mother died and found out she had a life insurance policy, and no will. Can, or will the state take the money?

In any life insurance policy a beneficiary must be named.

Only if there is no named beneficiary under the life insurance policy, and if a probate estate is not opened to distribute the funds in accordance with Nevada law.
