Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Nevada
Natural Gas Rights & deceased debts
If a woman living in Texas and is collecting monthly checks from natural gas property she owns in Louisiana (underground only-not land) passes away and leaves the underground rights to her 2 adult children in her will, are the children obligated to pay all of the deceased mothers credit card depts?

The money would come out of the probate, if her estate is probated. Nevada has a three year statute of limitations to collect on a debt after a person died. I don't know what it is in Texas.
