Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Nevada
No will, inheriting father's property?
My father died, leaving no will. His
wife, with whom I am not on good
terms, has started to put all their
shared property in her name alone. I
wonder if I have a right to any part of
my father's possessions as his only
daughter? What should or can I do to
protect my interests? Even if she
insists on keeping all money and
property during her life, is there a
way to be sure that after her passing,
I will inherit my father's part instead
of her decreeing it to someone in her
family?

If he left everything to his wife in his will or trust you are out of luck. Otherwise you may be entitled to something.
