Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My mother is trying to send me to a residential treatment facility that my therapist, who I have been seeing since age 12, and my Behavioral Assistance therapist, who I have been seeing since I believe 14, does not believe I need to go. I am 17 years old with no job but relatives who are willing to take care of me until I do. No they cannot petition for custody. I don't want to be hospitalized because my mother cannot stand to have me home. Is there any way for me to be emancipated or relinquish some sort of control?

Have you tried calling DYFS (now DCPP) for help?
