Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

My son is currently in juvenile detention center for violation of probation in a juvenile case. He is currrently out on bail for a burglary charge and had a court day this week for the adult burglary charge. The judge revoked his bail , What does this mean?

It means he is no longer free to be out. He is locked up. The fact that you had to ask this leads me to wonder what type of attorney you have on this case. Might be time to get a real one as things just went from bad to worse for him. Shouldn't be that expensive to get a good attorney for him.

It means that the bail formerly allowed in place of jail has been taken back so that there is no bail. I have the feeling that what you are saying is not exactly what happened.

Call me if you like.

The judge revoking his bail means that this case is considered serious enough that the judge doesn't want to take a chance of having your son out on the streets for fear that he might not come back to court and become a fugitive. Please contact me to discuss this case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
